Vakantiehuis Bas is een gezellig en comfortabel huis met een mooie tuin in een prachtige omgeving. Duinen, strand, winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. Ik was hier voor de zevende keer. Zoals altijd was het huis schoon, ook heeft het een complete keuken uitrusting, een gezellige haard en fijne bedden. Kortom een aanrader.

Ein wunderschönes und gepflegtes Häuschen in perfekter Lage! Ich mache schon seit meiner Kindheit Urlaub in Groet/Schoorl und habe schon in so manchem Ferienhaus dort gewohnt. Das Vakantiehuis Bas war ein Glücksgriff und hat uns ganz besonders gefallen, weil es einem hier an nichts fehlt und man sich einfach rundum wohlfühlen kann.

This modern, detached holiday home for 4 guests in Groet is located on a quiet road just outside the village centre, close to Schoorl in North Holland. You’ll stay in a rural area that is generally peaceful, with mainly cyclists passing by and only occasional agricultural traffic. From the house you can enjoy wide, open views over the polder landscapetowards the Hargervaart—a setting where space and tranquillity really stand out.
The location is ideal if you like to combine nature and the coast. Nearby you’ll find polder countryside, woodland, sand dunes and the beach, making it easy to choose a different walk or cycle route each day. Whether you’re heading out for a fresh morning stroll, planning a day by the sea, or exploring charming towns in the area, this holiday home is a comfortable and practical base on the North Holland coast.
Outside, you have a fully enclosed private plot with a terrace, lawn and a private driveway with an electrically operated entrance gate. This provides extra privacy, security and convenience on arrival and departure. The front garden faces north, but it is surprisingly deep, so you can sit on the terrace both in the sun and in the shade close to the house—perfect for a relaxed breakfast outdoors, a quiet afternoon in the garden, or unwinding after a beach or dune walk.

The living room is comfortably and practically furnished with a cosy seating area and dining area. You’ll have Wi-Fi, a Smart TV with Netflix, a Sonos sound system, a charming gas fireplace, and air conditioning for year-round comfort. Two French doors open directly onto the terrace and garden; both doors are fitted with insect screens, so you can enjoy fresh air even on warm days.
The spacious open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for both short breaks and longer stays. Facilities include a dishwasher, a Jura bean-to-cup coffee machine as well as a Nespresso machine, a toaster, a washing machine, a five-burner hob, an oven, a kettle, and a fridge with freezer compartment. A complete set of kitchen utensils and cookware is provided, making it easy to prepare meals and dine in comfortably.
On the first floor, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom features an electrically adjustable Auping box-spring bed with two separate mattresses. The second bedroom has two separate single box-spring beds. The bathroom, located between the bedrooms, includes a shower, washbasin, and toilet. The bedroom windows are also fitted with insect screens for extra comfort.
